Matt Lehrman is an Audience & Customer Engagement (ACE) expert who inspires innovation and solves profound problems for companies, causes and arts & cultural organizations.

From a 30-year career in real estate finance, commercial banking and arts & cultural management, Matt is recognized as a pioneer in the field of “audience development” – innovation in loyalty and customer engagement.

In 2003, Lehrman founded Alliance for Audience &, a nationally acclaimed collaboration of Arizona’s arts and cultural sector. Lehrman established Audience Avenue, LLC in 2012 to share the non-profit sector’s hard-won experiences in audience development to the burgeoning imperative of “loyalty and customer engagement” to the business community.

For the 2014-15 sensa-logoason, Matt served as Interim Managing Director of Arizona Theatre Company, the only member organization of the elite League of Resident Theatres (LORT) whose productions take place in two cities, Phoenix and Tucson.  In addition, Lehrman has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member teaching entrepreneurship and business management at Arizona State University since 2012.

Matt Lehrman’s speaking and consulting projects regularly take him across the US, UK and Canada and he is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association.

Matt Lehrman and his wife Toby (and their chocolate lab, Hope) reside in Scottsdale. They are the parents of Harrison, a Los Angeles-based improviser and comedian and Marissa, a graduate student at Harvard University.
